Waving the wrong flag only makes Trump stronger

Attention Mexican flag-waving, cop-car rocking, bottle-throwing anti-Trump protesters; The Donald thanks you.

Donald Trump’s horrible rise to the top of the GOP heap has been zipping along on two separate but co-equal tracks: a.) he’s clearly the front-runner to be the nominee of the Republican Party and b.) He’s guaranteed to lose in November.

Not just lose, get slaughtered.

Every poll in every demographic in all 50 states indicates Trump will be destroyed by Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders or anyone else the Democrats choose to throw against him. With off-the-charts negatives George McGovern could beat Donald Trump and he’s been dead since 2012.

There are only two conceivable ways Trump can pull his fat out of the fire: Hillary gets sent to prison or thousands of violent protesters continue to wave another country’s flag while rioting at his rallies.

Violent protesters carrying signs reading “Capitalism Kills” and “Make America Mexico Again!” are handing Trump more votes than “Low Energy Jeb,” “Little Marco,” and “Lyin’ Ted” combined.

The chaotic scene in the streets outside the Trump rally at the Pacific Amphitheater in Costa Mesa last Thursday were followed up on Friday by more ugliness in Burlingame. Trump haters blocked streets and tried to storm the lobby of the Hyatt Regency Hotel where Trump was scheduled to speak to the California Republican Party Convention.

Forced to abandon his motorcade and hop a fence to sneak in the backdoor Trump turned the protest to his advantage, telling reporters, “I feel like I’m crossing the border”, driving home the signature point of his campaign.

With the immigration issue at the center of Trump’s rise to the top, passions were guaranteed to run high when the circus finally stumbled its way to California. No matter what side of the divide you find yourself on, everyone acknowledges America’s immigration system is dysfunctional. The 2016 Election will be a referendum on illegal immigration.

And that’s the tragedy of our broken two-party system: Donald %*&#ing Trump is the messenger!

For decades Americans have begged their government for genuine immigration reform that begins with demonstrable border security. What they’ve been offered instead is de facto amnesty masquerading as “comprehensive immigration reform” and condemnation and abuse for anyone who refuses to be fooled twice by politicians promising border security in exchange for a general amnesty.

The notorious Simpson-Mazzoli Act of 1986, aka, “The Reagan Amnesty,” gave amnesty to 3.5 million undocumented immigrants.

Today we have 12 million and probably many millions more since thousands continue to cross the border illegally or overstay visas every month, year-in and year-out.

Trump’s ham-fisted bluster has blinded many to the simple truth that this ill-informed mean-spirited demagogue happens to be right about our porous borders and the price we have paid for failing to defend our own sovereignty. That the so-called “responsible” people in the Republican and Democratic parties dodged this issue rather than address it head-on opened the door to the hideous Donald Trump.

And now the battle has spilled into the streets with Trump supporters being pelted by open border radicals with the likely result Trump’s approval numbers will skyrocket.

I’m sure it wasn’t lost on The Donald the National Parks Service quietly announced they were raising the fence around the White House by 5 feet because of security concerns.

With each cop car that gets overturned Trump’s “beautiful” wall will also grow 5 feet higher.
